Show Me the Money | Visualizing Financial Data for Foundations

One of a series of four data visualizations of four private foundations - Clinton, Gates, Ford and Rockefeller - for a metrics and data visualization assignment at the MFA Design for Social Innovation program at SVA. 

Data from the foundations' annual reports (2010 to 2012) were used to visualize a) sources of revenue and b) program efficiency, to help prospective donors choose where to invest their philanthropy.

India Informalised

It is estimated that approximately 90% of India's workforce is employed in the informal sector. Although there have been efforts to document informal employment, the sector has largely been undocumented, primarily due to the lack of consensus regarding the definition of informality itself. The following visualization is an attempt to understand India's growing informal workforce, using data published by UNDP and Government of India agencies, as listed below.
